BLUCLAD® 1811

Palladium-nickel compliant with EN ISO 1811

BLUCLAD® 1811 is a process for electroplating a palladium-nickel alloy containing at least 80% palladium, for use as a top coat or as an intermediate layer. The deposit passes the nickel release test according to EN ISO 1811:2015. The bath runs on rack and barrel and plates bright layers up to 2 µm; raising the palladium and nickel concentration gives bright deposits at greater thicknesses too.
