BLUCLAD® 8640
Alkaline gold close to 24 kt

BLUCLAD® 8640 is a process for the electrodeposition of gold close to 24 carats, which may be alloyed with copper, nickel, silver and cobalt depending on the final colour required. The deposit is designed as a finishing layer, with colour coordinates that depend on the concentration of the metals and on the operating conditions, and the alloy passes the nickel release test according to EN ISO 1811. The bath is used on rack and barrel and offers a high deposition rate.
