BLUCLAD® 8698
Gold-nickel-iron above 23 kt, 1N colour
BLUCLAD® 8698 is a process for the electrodeposition of gold above 23 carats, alloyed with nickel and iron. It gives the 1N colour. The deposit is suitable both as an intermediate layer before the final colour coat and as a finishing layer, with colour coordinates that depend on the concentration of the alloying metals. The alloy passes the nickel release test according to EN ISO 1811:2015. The bath is used on rack and barrel.
