BLUCLAD® 8706 INOX
Acid gold activation for stainless steel
BLUCLAD® 8706 INOX is a process for the electrodeposition of a thin, nickel-free gold layer. Thanks to the high acidity of the electrolyte, it is particularly suitable for activating highly passive deposits or stainless steel base material, so that it can be plated, especially in nickel-free cycles. Adding cobalt to the bath gives a slightly lighter alloy close to 24 carats. The bath is used on rack and barrel.
