Silver blackening for antique finishes
BLUCLAD® AG BLACK 1 and 2 is a process for antique silver finishes on small parts: it blackens silver by simple chemical immersion in the two products, one to be diluted and one ready to use. It is applied on heavy silver deposits (not on bright deposits); after treatment the parts are dried or go straight to tumbling.
Before and after tumbling
Relieved by tumbling in sawdust with BLUCLAD® WAX 1 abrasive wax: the black layer wears away on the raised areas and stays in the recesses of the object.
