BLUCLAD® BLACKBURN
Chemical blackening of copper and brass
BLUCLAD® BLACKBURN is a liquid concentrate for blackening copper and brass. By high-temperature immersion, without electric current, it gives a black colour to copper, brass or brass-plated parts. As with all conversion treatments, the coloured layer must be dried thoroughly before handling.
Before and after tumbling
Relieved by tumbling in sawdust with BLUCLAD® WAX 1 abrasive wax: the black layer wears away on the raised areas and stays in the recesses of the object.
