Soft gold alloy for vintage effects

BLUCLAD® BLACKGOLD NEW is a process for the electrodeposition of a soft, nickel-free gold alloy, intended to be partially removed to create vintage effects. The bath is used on rack and barrel.

Before and after tumbling

Relieved by tumbling in sawdust with BLUCLAD® WAX 1 abrasive wax: the black layer wears away on the raised areas and stays in the recesses of the object.
