BLUCLAD® BRONZE 1512
Brass darkening, from brown to black
BLUCLAD® BRONZE 1512 is a darkening treatment for brass: a liquid concentrate that, by simple immersion and without electric current, gives colours ranging from brown to black on brass or brass-plated parts. It is used neat or diluted at room temperature. As with all conversion treatments, the coloured layer must be dried thoroughly before handling.
Before and after tumbling
Relieved by tumbling in sawdust with BLUCLAD® WAX 1 abrasive wax: the brown layer wears away on the raised areas and stays in the recesses of the object.
