BLUCLAD® CEMENTAL
Zincate treatment (chemical zincating) of aluminium alloys
BLUCLAD® CEMENTAL is an alkaline powder product used to make up the zincate bath for aluminium alloys to be nickel plated or electroplated. By simple immersion, the solution dissolves the oxide layer covering the part and, in its place, chemically deposits a thin layer of zinc. The zinc protects the aluminium from re-oxidation and acts as an adhesion bridge for subsequent plated deposits, such as the BLUCLAD® ALUBOND chemical nickel.
